Discipline and Bullying Policy

We believe that school is a place where learners are allowed to make mistakes without life-changing consequences. Discipline is the responsibility of all staff at St Andrew’s and there are clearly defined channels in which discipline issues are dealt with. We take a consequences, restorative approach and work with learners and their parents or guardians.

The School and Hostel Code of Conduct is available for download and outlines all procedures. The below Code of Conduct is a summary of the code and is in no way complete. The Statement on Bullying is also available for download.

The Guardian App

The school uses an anonymous reporting App called the Guardian; we encourage all pupils to download the App onto their phones to use if needed. The App is monitored by a panel at school and action is taken on all reports received.
